Don't want party to suffer because of my health: Kirron on not contesting polls

Actress and Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher in an interview said that she was not "dropped" from candidacy for upcoming Lok Sabha polls, rather she herself requested to be exempted from contesting. Kher said that she doesn't want the party to suffer because of her absence due to her health issues. She recently battled cancer and underwent treatment for the same.
