Dorsey to convert proceeds from auction of first ever tweet to Bitcoin

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said he will convert the proceeds from the auction of Twitter's first ever tweet to cryptocurrency Bitcoin. He will further use the proceeds to fund non-profit organisation GiveDirectly's Africa response. The tweet is being auctioned off as a non-fungible token and has so far attracted a bid of $2.5 million.
