DoT asks states to secure diesel for mobile towers amid supply concerns: Report

Department of Telecommunication (DoT) directed regional heads to coordinate with states to ensure uninterrupted diesel availability for mobile towers that depend on this fuel for operations, Moneycontrol reported. The move comes amid supply chain disruptions driven by Iran war. Earlier, an industry body said telecom field personnel were denied purchase of diesel in containers at fuel stations.
