Dottin becomes 1st WI cricketer to be given out obstructing the field

All-rounder Deandra Dottin has become the first international cricketer from the West Indies to be given out for obstructing the field. The incident occurred in the second West Indies-Sri Lanka WODI, wherein, in the 30th over, Chamari Athapaththu bowled a wide that deflected off wicketkeeper Kaushini Nuthyangana's pads. Dottin then struck the ball with her bat and caught it.
