Double overtime pay, weekly off announced for Noida factory workers after protests

After days of protests by factory workers over low minimum wages in Noida, the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration has announced measures to ensure industrial harmony. Workers will receive overtime pay at double the rate without deductions. They will also get a weekly holiday, and if made to work on their weekly holiday, they'll be paid double wages for that day.
