Dow Jones falls 1,100 points, records worst day since April 2025

US' Dow Jones fell over 1,100 points, or 2.19%, on Wednesday to mark its worst day since April 2025, when President Donald Trump unveiled his 'sweeping tariffs'. This comes after the US Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged from 3.5% to 3.75% in a 9-3 decision. The S&P 500 fell 1.5% to 7,316 points, while Nasdaq fell 1.74% to 24,442.
