Dow plunges 700 points on weak jobs data, war fears

US stocks fell sharply on Friday, with the Dow Jones dropping over 700 points after weak February jobs data showed nonfarm payrolls declined by 92,000 while unemployment held at 4.4%. Economist Peter Schiff warned the US economy could weaken further. He cited deteriorating employment conditions, rising energy prices and escalating Middle East tensions.
