Dr Bharati's tenure as health chief of Pune civic body PMC ends

The tenure of Dr Ashish Bharati as the health chief of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) ended on Wednesday. Dr Bharati led the PMC Health Department during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was appointed to the post in 2020 and earlier served as the Assistant Director of the state Health Department. It is unclear who will succeed him as PMC health chief.
