DR Congo cancel FIFA World Cup training camp over Ebola outbreak

The Democratic Republic of Congo cancelled a three-day FIFA World Cup 2026 preparation training camp in the capital Kinshasa due to an Ebola outbreak in the east of country. The players and coach Sébastien Desabre are based outside of the country, with most of them playing in France. WHO has declared the outbreak a "public health emergency of international concern".
