Dr Reddy's Laboratories has reportedly begun cutting down on workforce expenses by around 25%. Reports suggest that the Indian drugmaker is also laying off employees earning above INR 1 crore yearly. The company reportedly has also offered voluntary retirement to employees aged 50-55 within its research and development division.
