DRDO's HAPS soars to 21 km in successful test flight
India's DRDO successfully tested its High-Altitude Platform (HAPS), reaching 21 km altitude and cruising at 20 km for over 30 minutes. The airship transmitted real-time video and data to ground control. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called it a key milestone in Atmanirbhar Bharat's goal of developing a long-endurance stratospheric surveillance airship.
