DRDO signs contracts to accelerate AEW&C Mk-II programme

DRDO has signed contracts with AIESL and Adani Defence to advance India's indigenous AEW&C Mk-II programme. AIESL will convert six Airbus A321 aircraft into airborne surveillance platforms, while Adani Defence will develop mission systems. The next-generation AEW&C Mk-II will significantly enhance the Indian Air Force's surveillance, command, and air defence capabilities.
