DRDO successfully tests Akash-NG Missile in Odisha; 2nd test in 3 days

The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully test-fired the New Generation Akash Missile (Akash-NG), a surface-to-air missile defence system off the coast of Odisha on Friday. The test was carried out against a high-speed unmanned aerial target which was successfully intercepted by the missile. Notably, this is the second test firing of Akash-NG in the last three days.
