DRDO successfully tests indigenous combat parachute at 22,000 feet

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully tested the indigenously developed Military Combat Parachute System at 22,000 feet in Ladakh. The jumpers landed at an altitude of 13,700 feet as the trial was conducted in temperatures as low as -15°C. The trial was conducted at one of the world's highest altitudes, Nyoma, the DRDO said.
