Between April 8 and 10, 2025, India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted release trials of the indigenously developed 1,000-kg class Long-Range Glide Bomb (LRGB) ‘Gaurav’ from a Su-30 MKI fighter jet. The trials, conducted off the coast of Odisha, demonstrated the bomb’s capability to strike targets with pinpoint accuracy.
