DRDO tests indigenous Air-Droppable Container from P-8I aircraft

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Navy conducted four successful in-flight release trials of indigenous Air Droppable Container from a P-8I aircraft off the coast of Goa between February 21 and March 1. The system, designed to deliver 150-kg payloads, will enhance the naval operational logistics capabilities for providing quick response to vessels under distress.
