DRDO to build COVID-19 hospitals with 500-600 beds in Lucknow

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has directed the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to build coronavirus hospitals with 500-600 beds at two places in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow amid a surge in cases. The DRDO team will reach Lucknow today as per Singh's instructions. This comes as UP government announced a complete lockdown on Sunday across the state.
