Dreamworld owner fined ₹18.7cr in Aus after 4 people die on a ride

The operator of Australia's Dreamworld theme park has been fined A$3.6 million (₹18.7 crore) over the deaths of four people on a malfunctioning water ride in 2016. The four people died after a water pump on the ride malfunctioned, following which their raft crashed into another and overturned, crushing them. The operator Ardent Leisure admitted to breaching safety laws.
