DRI busts international gold smuggling racket in Mumbai

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) busted an international gold smuggling racket and arrested a "mastermind" of a gold smuggling syndicate and an Air India crew member. DRI seized gold valued at ₹1.41 crore from them. The crew member concealed foreign-origin gold bars weighing 1,373 grams. The accused crew member admitted to smuggling gold into India on previous occasions.
