DRI seizes 362 MT Pakistan-origin dry dates in Nashik

India's Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 362 metric tonnes of Pakistan-origin dry dates in Nashik under 'Operation Deep Manifest'. A Mumbai-based firm imported the goods via UAE, concealing their Pakistani origin through trans-shipment at Jebel Ali Port. India banned all Pakistan-origin imports from May 2, 2025, following the Pahalgam terror attack.
