DRI seizes 591 kg cannabis smuggled from Nepal in UP

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 591.3 kg of cannabis in an intelligence-led operation on October 17–18 in Uttar Pradesh. Officers intercepted a truck entering via Sonauli from Nepal, discovering 81 packets hidden in two specially engineered concealed cavities. The truck and contraband were seized under the NDPS Act, 1985.
