DRI seizes drugs worth ₹23.5 crore in Manipur and Assam

In two operations on May 21–22, 2025, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Assam Rifles seized 3.2 kg of heroin and 1 kg of meth tablets hidden in trucks in Manipur and Assam, worth ₹23.5 crore. Four people were arrested. Since January, drugs worth ₹173 crore have been seized in Northeast India, with 26 arrests made.
