Drift token falls to all-time low after $280mn hack

Drift Protocol’s (DRIFT) native token hit an all-time low over the past day after the decentralised exchange based on Solana (SOL) was hacked for $280 million. The attack used a novel nonce technique to seize administrative control. The hack also weighed on Solana, sending it down over 7%. Drift has frozen operations and is working with partners to track and recover the stolen funds.
