Drinking soda, juice in childhood linked to high BP risk: Study

Drinking two or more servings of sugar-sweetened beverages daily in childhood was linked to 52% higher risk of developing high blood pressure compared with consuming fewer than three servings weekly, US study found. People drinking 1.5 or more servings of fruit juice daily faced 35% higher risk, while each daily serving of orange juice was linked to 20% increased risk.
