Driver dies,17 injured as bus from Vaishno Devi falls into gorge

A bus returning from Mata Vaishno Devi shrine skidded off the road and fell into a 30-foot-deep gorge in Manda, near Jammu, killing the driver and injuring 17 pilgrims. Police stated that the driver lost control while navigating a curve. The driver has been identified as Rakesh from Himachal Pradesh. CM Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the accident.
