Drone attack on British base in Cyprus was not launched from Iran, confirms UK

UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) said a Shahed-like drone that targeted RAF Akrotiri base in Cyprus at midnight on March 2 wasn't launched from Iran. This comes after reports that an Iranian drone crashed inside the British Royal Air Force base. Earlier in response to it, MoD had said UK is deploying its Type-45 Destroyer, HMS Dragon, to Eastern Mediterranean.
