Drools ordered to pay ₹10,000 over worms in pet food

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chandigarh, has directed Drools Pet Food Private Limited, to pay ₹10,000 as compensation to a woman after she found live worms in the pet product. The commission has also directed the company to refund ₹540 being the value of the food product along with interest.
