Drugs made as ‘food products’ in Haryana are being sold in T'gana

The Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) has exposed a racket of drugs being manufactured under food licences in Haryana and illegally sold in Telangana. A capsule for treating peripheral neuropathy is a “drug” under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Akshar Molecules in Haryana was making it under a food licence and Elion Health Care was marketing it illegally in Telangana.
