DSP Kripa Shankar caught in hotel with female constable demoted to constable in UP

Three years after he was caught in a hotel with a female constable in Uttar Pradesh, DSP Kripa Shankar Kannaujiya has been reverted to the rank of a constable, officials said. In 2021 when he was Unnao Circle Officer, he took leave citing family reasons. He switched off his private and official phones and was later found in a hotel.
