DTF flags 60% principal posts vacant in Punjab schools

As Punjab's 'Sikhya Kranti' programme begins on October 27, the Democratic Teachers' Front (DTF) flagged that 1,153 of 1,927 sanctioned principal posts in secondary schools are vacant statewide, nearly 60%. In Ludhiana alone, 91 of 181 posts are unfilled. DTF demanded immediate promotions and recruitment, warning of intensified agitation if unaddressed.
