DU student claims she got no internship despite her medals; says 'Skills matter more'

A first year Delhi University student claimed she got no internship offers despite having over 50 certificates, 10 medals and 10 trophies. "Almost all internships I applied for, their first question was....'What are your skills?'...It took a lot...to accept skills matter more than marks," she said. Companies want to hire people proficient in a skill with decent marks, she added.
