DU to expand hostel capacity to 12,754 days after Delhi PG collapse

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced plans to expand hostel facilities, taking the total capacity to 12,754 seats. The move comes days after a PG collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan killed seven people. DU has also asked college principals to review existing residential facilities and explore ways to add more hostel accommodation on their campuses.
