Dubai-bound flight takes U-turn midway after drone attack at airport, lands back in Kerala

A Thiruvananthapuram-Dubai Emirates flight took a U-turn and landed back at the airport in Kerala's capital after a drone attack at Dubai airport triggered a massive fire. Flightradar24 data showed the flight flew for about 1.5 hours before it turned back. Dubai airport had temporarily suspended operations as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
