Dubai Ruler appoints his sons as First and Second Deputy Rulers

Dubai's Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has appointed his sons Maktoum Bin Mohammed and Ahmed bin Mohammed as First and Second Deputy Rulers of the emirate, respectively. Maktoum has held the post of Deputy Ruler of Dubai since 2008 and served in the role alongside the ruler's brother Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who died in 2021.
