Due to Punjab polls: Satyendar Jain on arrest in corruption case

AAP leader and former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain on Wednesday said he was arrested over alleged corruption in the Delhi Jal Board because of the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. He added that politics played a role in his arrest by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB). AAP leader Atishi termed Jain's arrest a "witch hunt" and a "BJP conspiracy" before Punjab elections.
