Duleep Trophy to return to its zonal format starting next season

India's red-ball domestic tournament, the Duleep Trophy, is expected to return to the zonal format next season. This decision was reportedly made during the BCCI's Annual General Meeting on Sunday. The BCCI had rebranded the Duleep Trophy this season and the tournament attracted plenty of eyeballs with some star India players being part of the first round.
