Duo hide 12 gold biscuits under trolleys at Bengaluru airport
Two passengers arriving from Kuala Lumpur were caught allegedly smuggling 12 gold biscuits worth ₹1.8 crore at Bengaluru airport. They reportedly hid packets beneath baggage trolleys, hoping other travellers would move them past customs checks. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials recovered the gold before the accused could retrieve it beyond the customs-controlled area.
