World Population Data Sheet released by US has revealed that Delhi, which houses 22.7 million people, is now the world's second most populous mega-cities after Tokyo, out sizing New York and Shanghai. With its 1.4 million persons in 1950, Delhi was not even in the top-30. Mumbai(7th) and Kolkata(10th) are the other two Indian cities in the top-10.
