EA lays off staff from several teams despite Battlefield 6 success

EA has laid off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Motive Studio, Criterion Games, Ripple Effect Studios and DICE, reports said. It stated that layoffs are taking place as part of a "realignment" across the Battlefield studios. Notably, 'Battlefield 6' had a record-breaking launch and was best-selling game of 2025 in US.
