EA shares jump 15% on report of Amazon bidding for the company

The Nasdaq-listed shares of Electronic Arts (EA) jumped 15% in premarket trading on Friday after USA Today reported that Amazon plans to make an offer to acquire the company. However, a later report by CNBC claimed that Amazon is expected to make no such offer. The California-based video game company owns titles like 'FIFA', 'Madden' and 'Apex Legends'.
