Earnings from fuel prices spent on welfare: Govt on Rahul's criticism

After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed the Centre was profiteering from increased fuel prices, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan responded that the money was being used for welfare measures instead of personal benefit. Pradhan added that it is Congress that has a "legacy of transferring money into the accounts of middlemen, 'National Daamad', 'The Family' and Rajiv Gandhi Foundation".
