Earth to face back-to-back geomagnetic storms on August 27 and 28

Earth could experience back-to-back geomagnetic storms on August 27 and 28. A G1 minor storm is expected on August 27 from a coronal-hole high-speed solar wind stream, while CMEs released on August 25 could trigger a stronger G2 moderate storm on August 28. The latter may push auroras to unusually low latitudes, though visibility remains uncertain.
