Earthquake death toll rises to 65 in China, over 50,000 relocated
The death toll from the 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck southwestern China's Sichuan province on Monday has risen to 65. More than 50,000 people have been relocated to safer places following damage to buildings. The earthquake caused nearly 240 houses to collapse, Reuters reported. This is said to be the strongest earthquake to hit the Sichuan province since 2017.
