Earthrise captured by Artemis II spacecraft, NASA shares pic

NASA's Artemis II crew witnessed an Earthrise as the Orion spacecraft emerged from behind the Moon during its lunar flyby. The crew had been out of contact with Earth for approximately 40 minutes as Orion passed behind the Moon's far side. The sighting came moments before the Deep Space Network reacquired the spacecraft's signal and restored communications.
