Eating 1 to 6 eggs a week lowers heart disease death risk by 29%: Study

A study led by Australia's Monash University researchers found eating between one and six eggs each week reduces risk of dying from heart disease by 29%. The research stated it reduces risk of dying from any cause by 15%, compared to those who rarely or never eat eggs. Eggs are preferred source of protein for older adults, the research noted.
