EC declares first results in Jharkhand Assembly elections

The Election Commission has declared the first results in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. As per the EC, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates Yogendra Prasad, Uma Kant Rajak, Sudeep Gudhiya and Niral Purty have won from Gomia, Chandankiyari, Torpa and Majhgaon constituencies, respectively. Meanwhile, CPI(ML)(L) candidate Chandradeo Mahato has won from the Sindri Assembly constituency.
