EC declares winner of 1st seat in Bengal as BJP's Saikat wins from Monteswar

The Election Commission declared the winner of the first seat in West Bengal as BJP's Saikat Panja won from the Monteswar Assembly constituency by 14,798 votes. He defeated TMC's Chowdhuri Siddiqullah, who got 81,761 votes, while CPI's Anupam Ghosh received 18,192 votes. BJP has won one seat and is leading on 194 seats, while TMC is ahead in 91 seats.
