EC extends door-to-door SIR voter verification in Delhi till Aug 17

The Election Commission has extended Delhi's door-to-door voter verification under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) until August 17. The draft electoral roll will be published on August 24, while claims and objections filed by voters will have to be disposed of by the poll officials by October 22. The final electoral roll is now scheduled for publication on October 27.
