EC issues fresh work allocation order after July row

The Election Commission issued a fresh work allocation order on November 4, formalising distribution of administrative, IT, and grievance responsibilities. It is the first such directive since Election Commissioners SS Sandhu and Vivek Joshi wrote to the Cabinet Secretary in July, objecting to portfolio redistribution. The order accounts for recent changes in ECI's senior administrative personnel.
