EC needs to assist voters deleted for lack of proof: SC as it upholds SIR

Supreme Court upheld the Election Commission (EC) authority to conduct the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, ruling it does not violate any constitutional or statutory provisions. The court said SIR is linked to free and fair elections but directed the ECI to assist voters deleted for lack of citizenship proof and refer them to competent authorities.
